The church is commanded to go into all the world and make disciples, baptize them, and teach them all that Christ has commanded. We take this seriously through several areas of ministry. The fall firewood ministry is very popular. We average about 10 cords of wood, cut, split, and delivered to those in need. At Christmas time our folks are very generous with the Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse. We have Sunday School for all ages too. Naturally, the preaching of God’s Word is the most important ministry. Wednesday night free, public suppers are a hit, cooked by men who really know how to work a kitchen! Monthly pot lucks on Communion Sunday also serve up a tasty plate. The local food pantry also receives monthly monetary gifts from us. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances of the church, but also ministries to the faithful. Annual Vacation Bible School brings many kids in to hear about the love of God. Our Benevolence Fund is usually quite healthy which allows us to give aid to the needy in our ministry area. This is a body of believers who wholeheartedly believe that we are to be as generous to others as Christ has been to us.
